1-1-11

1-1-11

Hola peeps. I came back just to practice my 1-1-11's. I think I have it down. Easy peasy. Wouldn't it be great if all of life was as easy as entering today's date?

So, the crab cakes were delicious and I'll be making them again. They were as good as you'd get in any restaurant, and really so inexpensive. The rest of the dinner was great and we ate while watching a DVR'd episode of Human Target. I think the lead character is the most handsome man I've ever seen. Rob gets a kick out of that. We both think the actors are awesome, but the writing not so much. Another show to be canceled? I hope not. We spent a lot of time on our laptops, like two nerds. We ate a bunch of chocolates. We had mint chocolate chip ice cream. Then we ate a few slices of my Mrs. Prindable's triple-chocolate caramel apple. You have to check this link to see the most decadent apple ever! One of my clients gives me one of these every year. The jumbo size. This was the first time I ever checked the website. Wow! We went to bed on food overload with the resolution to start the new year eating healthy. I made coffee this morning and couldn't help but slide some chunks of chocolate that fell off the apple into my coffee mug. Delicious! Did I make that resolution just to break it?

Happy New Year!

Your New Year's Eve sounds much like ours was, and it was perfect! I wouldn't trade such times for anything. Your candy apple link wasn't working, but I did find the Mrs. Prindables website and drooled on my laptop! :-) I'm not making any resolutions, 'cuz I know I'd break them, other than to try to live each day in a more caring and compassionate way. It can be a harsh world out there and we need more smiles, like yours! Your clients are so blessed to have you!!

I fixed the link. I think I'm still full. My mom wants to go to a Chinese buffet so that's where I'm off to. With Rob. Trust me when I say that's the last place I want to be. I'm doing it for my ma.

Happy New Year Cheryl. I am SOOO stealing your title, it's just the push I need to get blogging again!

We had a quiet time at home as well, complete with kids! I can only wonder how many of those we have left...

Happy New Year chica! I hope you have a blessed and prosperous year.

I don't do so well with resolutions either. I am such a perfectionist that when I fail one day I give up entirely. I am better off doing a vague promise, mine this year is to be healthier.

You didn't break it! Putting the chocolate in your coffee was both economical and healthy as it's full of anti oxidants!

"Hola, Peeps"?? Love the new multi-cultural you!!
