I'll write something before work, for a change. Things have been good around the house lately. No drama for at least a week! Woohoo. What a difference that can make. Over the last month or so, Emily has become really good friends with a classmate, who's been staying over here a lot. I feel like I have two daughters instead of one. I making two lunches. Two bagels. I don't mind at all. I'm happy that Emily's not spending all of her time alone while at home. They're doing homework together. Doing each other's hair. Laughing a lot. When our kids are happy, we're happy, right? And I like to be happy. So, so far? So good.

Have a great Wednesday and I'll write more later.

Its funny how our childrens moods define our own. I am happy Emily has found a good friend, we all need one.

Friends are a wonderful stabilizer for teenagers - both boys and girls. The fact that they are spending their time in the sight of parents (so to speak) is reassuring to parents. Sounds like you have a well deserved breather.

Good for Em, I'm glad she found a good friend. High school is so much easier when you have someone to chum around with.

I hope you have a good day today.

Glad things are going good for Emily and she has a good friend.
You're right when your kids are happy, it makes you happy - and that's true no matter how old they get. :-)

I'm so glad things are peaceful! My close friends at that age were everything to me. You're a great mom to accept her in like that.

One of the tough things in parenthood is that you can't pick your kids' friends. My son had some friends in his early teens that did some damage. You're lucky if they make good choices.
