Surprise! I didn't think I'd have Internet access but I do! I'm at my cousin's house, hanging out. Just finished reading the NY Times. I'm pooped. It was a good ride up yesterday. I started out with a large caramel latte, extra shot, extra hot from Border's to go. I stopped at a rest stop and got the same at a Starbucks. That killed my chances of a good night's sleep. I got into Staten Island at about 5:00, had a quick dinner and then we were off to Manhatten. My cousin drove her new Prius: I'd never been in one before. Very cool. We made it into the city just in time to catch Baby Momma at the theater. Very funny and heartwarming. Then we drove to the apartment. It really was a thrill to be staying at a Manhatten apartment with a doorman and all. We stayed up late talking. Then I stayed up very late because I couldn't fall asleep. And it's a good thing I remembered my earplugs because it's loud in the city. I got an early start for the day's adventure, starting with a subway ride. I definitely felt like a tourist. The show was great! I bought lots of stuff. I even had my hair done on stage. I took many pictures that I'll post when I get home. I just thought I'd give a quick update. I'll get an early start for home in the morning. I'm really enjoying my audio book so I'll look forward to continuing the story. And I'm looking forward to my own bed. It's been fun, but there's no place like home. TTY soon!

I'm up in that neck of the woods too. I'll be heading back tomorrow, and although I'll miss everyone here I do like to sleep in my own wonderful bed. Enjoy the trip back.

I'd love to go to a show like that, some big vendor show thing. The closest I've been was to a bead show. It was ok, just not a lot of variety, except for beads. I think a sewing show would be fun.

You didn't tell me you got your hair done! Do you mean cut, or just styled? Did you like it?
