You asked for pictures, and here they are. I hope they show the scope of the show. It was huge, and exciting. I'm really glad I was able to attend. I wish my stay in NY wasn't so short. It was just long enough to be a tease.

Nick from 'What Not To Wear'

For some reason there were lots of teeth whitening booths

Nice body art, huh?

I got on stage and had my hair styled by the DevaCurl people. I swear by their products for curly hair. They shampooed, conditioned and dried my hair. It was fun. I struggled to keep my underwear from showing while bending over to have my hair washed, then to keep the water out of my face so my mascara wouldn't run while it was being rinsed. Other than that it was fun

The end of the day, waiting for my ride

The apartment we stayed at was high in the upper west side. They say it's the best part of town. It was on 89th St. (Ave?) between Amsterdam and Broadway. The first photo is a view from the living room window. The rest of the shots are just random pictures I liked.

I left to drive home at 7:30 AM. It rained cats and dogs for all but about 15 minutes of the drive. It was a white-knuckle drive, and I was very happy to pull into my driveway. It took just under 4 hours. Everything's put away and the laundry is done. And I'm stuck to this couch, where I plan to stay for the rest of the day.

Oh, Cheryl, it looks like a dream trip. The show looks like fun. It's really neat that you had your hair done on stage. I'd love to be able to spend a bit of time in NYC. My few trips have been straight in for shows and then straight back out.

Rest up. The week looms ahead.

I'm glad and sad. Glad because you had a great time and I got to see such wonderful photos. Sad because I know you're tired and we won't get to hear from you until tomorrow. Your blog means that much to me! Take care friend and you touch us all with your words. Geez, I am sounding corny. It has been an emotionally good day!

what a deliciously fun looking trip! They did a marvelous job on your hair!!

All the different people, it must have been fun.

I did have to chuckle at the sign in the first picture, only because of my own self diagnosed symptoms. :)

happy tuesday!
Always,
Elizabeth
