A busy day off. What else is new? I went swimming and it went...swimmingly. I did the every other length freestyle stroke again, and swam a mile, again. I was starved afterward so I drove till I found a Chinese restaurant. I was the only one there for a while. The food was just OK. I went to the dentist. Started the work for the bridges including having one of my molars hollowed out and a temporary filling put in. I'll go back in two weeks. Much to my chagrin, the tooth is really sensitive. When I was done I went to Muvico and saw Gran Torino. It was great. I can't believe a matinee costs $8. I also can't believe I've seen 3 movies since Christmas.

Maybe the tooth sensitivity will fade. Sometimes for me the nerves throb for a week after drilling, but then it gets better.

Hollowed out! That must have really hurt. And three movies since Christmas!

The Novocaine worked like a charm and I didn't feel a thing. In fact, I didn't even notice the Novocaine wearing off. My dentist is great.

Movies, man, I tell ya, the biggest ripoff in the world and yet we keep going! There are so many movies I want to see now, I'd go broke just trying to see them all.

I'm glad your still swimming, not glad about the sensitive teeth. I feel your pain!!

Have a great weekend!

I'm so jealous that you got to swim today. It's 3 degrees here!

I'm so glad you're back into and enjoying your swimming. I know that makes you feel good.

I have never even heard of that movie, but then, I go to the movies about once a year. ;-)

Take care of you -

Do you know the old home remedy of putting a whole clove on the sore/sensative tooth? It does work.

Anwser to your ? from yesterday: It's a 90 year old house, plenty of hidey holes and places for mice to enter/exit as much as I try and plug them. It won't have to chew it's way out. Miss Lilly's been put on notice, no kibble till she produces a carcass.

Busy day for you. I wish I had your ability to keep moving and accomplishing what needs to be done.

Cheryl, you accomplish more in an afternoon than I do in a month! And may I just say, a trip to the dentist alone sends me cowaring to my bed for the rest of the afternoon. You are my hero.
One more thing, for Lynn and all of you Mid-western'ers suffering in the dead of winter, it was 82 in my neck of the woods today. So glad I am not in your shoes....

Have a good weekend Cheryl.

Hugs. :)

That WAS a full day. It seems to me that your days are generally very busy. Good for you for being so active! I'm not swimming yet, hopefully next week.

Will you give us some reviews of the movies you've seen? I Want to see Gran Torino too...also 7 pounds. Also a couple others but can't think of their names right now. You really are an inspiration....you get so much done in a day...makes me really feel like a slacker. LOL

We almost went to a movie this weekend - but when I read that it's $11.50, we went to the Redbox instead.

I'm getting cheap! :D
