Mo on the Go sounds so much better

I'm not a hibernator. I wake up, and I'm up. A good Sunday morning for me is getting up, dressed, and out the door to Panera's or Starbucks. I could stay home in pajamas and have my own coffee and bagel along with my very fast Internet. It's just more fun for me to be out. So, here I am. Panera's. My coffee club card was fully stamped, so I got a free large latte. The heck with calories. At least I had low-fat cream cheese? I did sleep just fine last night, by the way. I went to Kit's after Border's. We had pizza at Ledo's, then hung out on her double, very soft leather recliner with our respective laptops, listening to old-school music on her TV. Middle-aged geeky fun. When I left, I picked up Emily and her boyfriend from the ice skating rink, paid for Chinese carry-out for them, and brought them home to hang out for a while till his mom picked him up. So, a good day and a good night for me.

This Panera's is across the street from Muvico, and I'm thinking of catching the movie Doubt that starts at 10:10 AM. A perfect time to go to the movies. Muvico is an amazing theater. They seem to be mostly in FL, with one in IL and one here near me. This one has 24 screens with an Egyptian motif. It must have cost millions to build it. It's pretty amazing. I love that they have early movies, not that I really go to them. I've seen the preview for Doubt, and heard excellent reviews. I think this will be a go.

Enjoy your Sunday, whatever you do. Football for a lot of you. None for me. I'm glad the Ravens won yesterday...lots of people around here wearing purple.

Please give us your review on the movie. You know you read these articles and they say the movies are so wonderful, then you look at them and think..."wth...this movie sucks!" So...we need a critic we can trust and that would be YOU. I've been wanting to see 7 Pounds. Have you seen it and if so, is it good?
Have a wonderful day off.

Funny, I am just the opposite, I don't like getting up and going out the door. I love lounging in PJs with my laptop or a good book on a Sunday morning.

I do like Panera's though and usually go during our school vacations.

I love that you and Kit both enjoy your laptops, none of my friends blog or have laptops for that matter! So to me geeky fun sounds like a lot of fun!

I wanted to see Doubt yesterday, but it wasn't playing around here yet. I saw the previews already and wanted to see it before any of the reviews came out. Can't wait to hear what you think about it!

I'm the same- I get up and get going too, I just have all this energy to expend all the time.

btw- I love Panera, they have such delicious bread.

I HAVE to get up unless someone else wants to volunteer for a 4am wake up call... *silence* guess not.
Anyways, since I don't HAVE to be up anymore I guess I'll find my way back to bed. I am sooo much a hibernator... if only I could eat enough food to get me through!
Lmao... hope you are well, and yes, I'm still around :)

hi Cheryl, i'm a movie buff, and i've been getting passes for free movie screenings for the past few months, so i've seen a lot of them. Doubt i haven't seen yet, but it's on my small list of movies left to see.

i usually go to the Hoffman Theatres in Alex, VA. when i pay, but the screenings are usually at Regal Gallery Place Theater in DC or Mazza Gallerie Theatre or Bethesday Landmark or E St Landmark Theatre or Hoffman Theatres. i'll have to check out Muvico one of these days.

i don't think i'm going to any inaugural events, but at the last moment i could change my mind and go. my brother is coming in from CA for a few days, and he and my mom are going to one of the inaugural balls. he's planning on attending as much as he can, which is his purpose for coming to DC.

are you going to any events? i haven't read any blogs since the end of Dec.

I watched football with the big guy most of the day, and finished reading WATER FOR ELEPHANTS. It turned out to be a great read. Glad you slept well in spite of the caffeine. I love Panera's tuna salad. Guess they don't serve that for breakfast!

just read down and saw that you're watching the inaguration at home with your Obama t-shirt on. i sometimes do things like that also (wear special related clothing while watching tv).

Panera has the best cinnamon scones! Yummy! Yet, I rarely go. It's because we have Starbucks in a lot of my stores. Oh well.

Hope the movie was good!

Ahhh Panera Bread is good for food but the coffe is a little lack lustre for me anyway. I do drink it however but I only like it when it good and hot.

I love going to the early shows no later than 4:00 PM for me. Let the young kids have the late night shows. I just saw Slumdo Millionaire, it was a pretty darn good film.

Hey, I want free passes for movie screenings. The "sleeping well" comment... was that a response to the BOGO? There are a few movies out I'd like to see, but movie theaters gross me out now. I've become a PETAL.
