I was looking at the AeroGarden yesterday when I remembered that one of the tomato plants is the Golden Harvest variety. It dawned on me that some of the yellowish tomatoes might be ripe. Duh. So, I picked it, thus the 'still life.' Then I ate it. Opinion #1? Tart. Opinion #2? Save your money.
Happy Friday!

I think you should transplant them and get them ready to go outside. Or can you do that with your freind Mr. Squirrel? I'm using our AG to make seed starts for the garden this year. Fingers crossed for some sun this weekend!
Maybe you picked it too soon and they will taste better after some more time? I'm surprised to see a bit of the sun today! :-)
But they look so cute! I show my husband the photo updates once or twice a month and we always talk about getting one. He loves it. We don't really have the need, but again, so cute.
Enjoy the "weekend" :)
There is something keenly interesting about your tomato project. I want to try it now.
I keep wondering if my dad the retired farmer would go for this.
It would give him something to do that is safer than a garden he can't take care of.
I don't think the tomato was ripe. Don't give up until you give the plants a real chance. Yellow tomatoes that I've grown in a garden (many years ago) were really yellow when ripe.
I have gotten interested in the upside down tomatoes I've been seeing advertised on TV. Have you seen them? Do you think they would grow and produce?
ooo how cool. I 've thought about those gardens..maybe I'l pick one up
They look good!
Oh how disappointing!!! Get them ready to go outside -- you can do that, right?
You're cracking me up with the tomato posts. My son, The Baby, keeps wanting to buy one of these thingies but I'm like you, save your money.
I hope things are going ok with you. It's nice to read that you have some new clients. It's not surprising, I'm sure you're the best there is.
Talk to you soon...when I get out of my funk.
Ugh.

the tomato project..lol
you shoulda fried it. or left it til it was red. isn't that the color of a ripe tomato?
:))
have a great day!
I am only doing a few vegetables this year. Tomatoes will be one of them. I can't wait!
I love your tomato posts. I think you must be having an influence on my, because I ordered a seedling pack of six, organically grown heirloom tomatoes. There is no way in the world my husband and I can eat the tomatoes from six plants! He barely eats tomatoes at all because the seeds are bad for him.
Oh well, Maybe I'll make sauce.
I love these posts, you are so creative, so productive, so real. I would give just about anything to have half your energy. Well, I have the energy, just not the body that will allow me to keep at it..but anyway, I live through you and your projects. I hope this weekend is a good one for you. Hugs, friend. :)
