02 December 2007

It's 8:30 AM and I'm 'nestled' in at Paneras. What a great start to the day! Kit and I have gotten into the routine of meeting every Sunday morning at a coffee shop. Em's sleeping, and glad that I don't try to drag her out. What could be better? Kit goes to visit her 90 year old father when we part. I do a little shopping and head home. Today I plan to do Christmas shopping. I have a Macy's coupon and know what I want to buy.

Emily's friends are coming over this afternoon for their project. I plan to be cooking. I'm trying a new recipe for baked ziti and I'll be making rosemary focaccia to go along with it. All in all, I think it's going to be a great day.

Later!

If I lived close enough to one I'd be in Panera's pretty darn often. The closest one is about 40 mins away.

Mornin', Ms Cheryl. Your menu sounds great. I haven't made a focaccia in months but my crowd will gobble one up in record time. Take time to curl up and read for awhile.

I'm glad to see that you are being true to your plan to USE the cookbooks. I hope you find it rewarding. Ziti makes great leftovers. Rosemary focaccia sounds ambitious! and delicious! Have a fun day.
