I think I've seen it all. I was sitting on the couch, on the computer, when I heard a thump from the deck. I looked thru the blinds to see the squirrels in action. By action, I mean 2 of them running around trying to have sex. On my deck! They ran circles through the 2 tomato planters. Circles through the planter of flowers. On the chaise lounge. On the railing. The boy trying his best to get on the girl. I just couldn't believe my eyes. Finally, I went out, scaring them, picked up the few green mauled tomatoes, and put the Squirrel Away powder around the dirt of the planters. I mean, come on. Get a hotel room!

I have a squirrel out back in the tree right by the deck trying to build a nest as I type. She keeps dropping small branches and leaves all over the deck.
You do work close to where I walk!
No, I haven't read The Glass Castle but will put it on my list to read.
Have a happy day. :-)

Yay! Squirrel Seeex! Everybodys gotta have a good time some time. Even the squirrels. You will have more to watch next summer. Just think about it. LOL Hope you aren't working to hard. I've been thinking of you today. :-P

I meant to put squirrels after writing more. I didn't mean watching more squirrel fun which equals more squirrels. I'm outta here before I embarrass myself further.

Andrew Out!

I used to see the same thing in the morning every spring with the wrens on our balcony in our apartment growing up. But the poor male bird kept getting thrown off by the female! That was funny!

You must be a welcoming soul cause the squirrels seem to feel right at home.

After all that Cheryl, I suppose telling you the story of my neighbors with no blinds would be pretty anti-climactic, huh?
