It's been a long, but good day. The car ride was pretty fun. Em and I talked, sang, acted silly, listened to music, etc. I started off with a can of Italian Espresso soda from Trader Joe's. The first sip took me aback, but then I got used to it. Halfway through Emily told me she was going to take it away because I was acting weird. I got my act together, cause I didn't want to scare her. I was just having fun. Coffee at Einstein's bagel shop, then a latte at the only Starbucks on I-95, and I was set for the rest of the drive. We stopped for lunch in Smithfield, NC, then Emily dragged me through some outlets. I really wasn't in the mood. Back on the road, Emily tried to watch a DVD on the laptop, but couldn't get a picture. When we got to the hotel, I called Dell. Thank you to those that said I should renew my warranty before it expired. Dell remotely installed a new driver and did some other things, and the problem is gone. It was actually pretty interesting. The technician remotely took over the controls as we watched onscreen. Anyway, we went to eat and then to the local shopping center where Emily got to do more shopping. She was very happy, to say the least. The plan is to do school clothes shopping on our vacation. Have I mentioned how much Emily loves to shop?

We just watched a DVD, and now it's time for bed. We'll leave early in the morn for the last 3 hours of our journey. Talk to yall later (That's me being Southern).
