I'd love to be camping next to this stream. I used to camp when I was married, but now I don't have anyone to camp with. I have all the stuff. We always picked a spot next to a stream and this picture brings back a lot of memories. Anyone want to go camping?
Even though I grew up in a really rural area with lots of lakes and rivers all around, I've never really been much of a camper. Roughing it isn't really my idea of fun. ;-)
My parents sent me to Outward Bound for a month when I was 15. Nothing like living unassisted in the wilderness of the Superior National Forrest to make you not want to camp again the rest of your life.
The picture is beautiful, though. It reminds me of when I lived in Virginia.
I'd go with you in a heartbeat. Like you, I used to camp with my ex...it was just what we DID. Now, Mark doesn't like to camp, or boat...so, I don't go.
Meet you at the lake - or at your stream, your call!!!
Last time I went camping was with my then teenage sons. A lizzard decided to join me in my sleeping bag. A real comedy followed - the boys laughed until they were almost sick - I spent the rest of the night snug-as-a-bug in the car. The stories the boys told to their friends!! Botttom line - yep, I'd camp again but I want a tent with a floor and zippered door.
I'll have to pass on the camping - I'm more of an indoor kind of girl. I don't mind visiting nature, but I don't want to be in it for very long. But it is a beautiful spot.
Wow! I would totally love to go camping there! I think we are going to try to go camping with some friends from Spokane this Summer. They camp pretty regularly at a place in Idaho. I've only camped in a tent one time before, but I hope to make it a more regular summer event. Thanks for hooking me up with your Marysville friend! I'm checking out her blog in a few minutes. Take care!! Becca www.beccasfreshfruit.blogspot.com
I love camping and it has been entirely too long since I have been!
I too used to go all the time when I was married and when I was younger. My stuff is in storage. Maybe if I get it out of storage it will prompt me to get out in the great outdoors???
I hope you get a camping trip in sometime. It's good for the soul.
I have the perfect job for me. I choose to be a happy person. I have a 23
year old daughter, a mostly local family and some great friends. I live in a sun-filled home that I love. I love to learn. I'm easy to please. I'm not always what I seem.

It's a beautiful spot. I'm not much of a camper, but I'd love to be hiking there.

Camping is not my thing - I like to sleep in a real bed - though I would like to hike there.

Oh - that's a beautiful spot. I'll go, I'll go!! As long as we only stay one night, so I can shower the next day.... ;)
If I lived nearby I would totally go with you. That looks like such a zen spot. Good for reflection.
lovins,
fiwa
That is a gorgeous area! I'd go camping with you! You should find some friends and just go, it's too beautiful not to!
Nothing like the sound of a stream to put you to sleep at night.
Oh, if only I could take a vacation... *sigh*
