Yes that's me. Can you see how close that hummingbird was to my head? I was just coming back from my walk. I noticed that the hummingbird was at the feeder. When he wasn't looking, I got a little closer. Suddenly, he flew right to my head! The staccato beating of his wings sounded like a hovering helicopter. I froze. Was I wearing a red top, I thought? Is he going to land in my hair??? It was the strangest feeling. I stayed as still as a statue, till he flew away.
Snow - didn't walk
-
It snowed during the night and it's been snowing all day and it's very
windy too.
I didn't go for my morning walk - Ken suggested I not go and I'm listening...

What an experience! I have a hummingbird garden in my front yard--but I have yet to actually see any hummingbirds. Maybe I'm looking for them at the wrong time of the day.
If I had been in tht situation, I would hv screamed in my most blood curling voice the second the bird came to my head!
Nice artwork!
Cute artwork...and i think i might have panicked were it me.
That's wild! I'm glad you didn't panic. What would you have done if he landed in your hair?
