Ilene is sitting next next to me and I asked her what she'd say about today. Maybe it's just me that thinks it's so great. Not! She said: It was another wonderful day on Edisto Island. After a delicious breakfast of Aaron and Rachel's French Toast Casserole, we headed off to the beach. The boys and Andy did not get wet and appeared to be miserable. They soon left. Emily, Ilene and I stayed for hours, floating on our rafts, sitting under our umbrella, and reading. We had a great time. We got back to the house and changed into new swimsuits, and hung out at the creek. Ilene floated for the first time. We made tomato pies for dinner, and while they were cooking I ran out to a tiny seafood store to pick up shrimp for Emily's dinner. She's not into the pie. I sauteed the shrimp in butter and minced garlic and I must say, they were the freshest and most delicious shrimp I've ever had. I'd eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner if I could. The five kids are playing Monopoly now, and Ilene and I are going to Google Southern Living to find a house down the creek that was featured in the magazine a few months ago.

Everyone but Ilene and I are going to Charleston tomorrow. We're going to the beach.

What is french toast casserole and tomatoe pie? The first sounds good, but the second I must decline since I hate cooked tomato's. Never heard of either.
