Have I ever mentioned my friend Sheri? I don't think so. We've worked together for years. Maybe 16? I'm not sure. I'd say we have like minds. We get the same things. She always has my back. We're both very busy and don't talk a lot, but it's good to know she's there. I just thought I'd mention that.

I'm packed for my trip. Very lightly. I'm dreading the drive along the New Jersey Turnpike. So boring. I'm listening to a good audio book that will help pass the time. At least I get to drink coffee. I didn't drink a drop last weekend. I was afraid I'd be all nervous cutting my mannequin. This weekend's going to be a journey: car to Staten Island, ferry to NYC, overnight at an apartment, show on Sunday, ferry back to SI where I'll spend the night, then back in the car on Monday for the ride home. I'm tired just thinking about it. Unfortunately it's supposed to be rainy and cool. I hope it doesn't rain all the way up there. Nothing worse than a long car trip in the rain.
