I spoke to the insurance adjuster today to give my statement. When I was done she told me the neighbor is making a medical claim. I told her I was SO surprised. She told me I shouldn't be. *sitting here shaking my head* I guess the insurance company takes care of everything. I hope my neighbor isn't hurt, and I hope she's not lying, but I don't think she's hurt and I do think she's lying.
Please - do not ever apologize for long comments. I asked the question because I wanted to know your thoughts. I love hearing what you and everyone else has to say.
Want me to throw a snowball at her? I have bad aim, and I live in the midwest so I'd need one heck of a strong arm, but I'd do it if it would cheer you up! :)
Ugh. I think you're probably right. Some people. I'm so sorry you have to go through it. My mom had someone "stop short" in front of her a few years back, then claim injuries. They got out of their car, walked a ways to a pay phone and then insisted on being carried off on a stretcher. Her insurance co. got sued and said it happens all the time.
I have the perfect job for me. I choose to be a happy person. I have a 23
year old daughter, a mostly local family and some great friends. I live in a sun-filled home that I love. I love to learn. I'm easy to please. I'm not always what I seem.

HAHAHAHEEHEEHEEHOHOHO.......sometimes people surprise you, don't they?
Unbelievable! I'll be thinking about you -- and sending up good thoughts and vibes.
You're kidding??? People will do anything for a buck!!
Good luck on the insurance claim. I hope if she's lying they catch her at it!!
I came within milliseconds of hitting a car today. Thought of you immediately. I really have to stop reading while I drive.......
I hope at some point her conscience kicks in.
I know I am naive as hell, but I really can't believe someone would do that. And to a neighbor, no less. I'm so sorry girlfriend.
Karma, Baby, karma...
Wow, I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this hassle. I hope it works out ok.

What a rotten thing for your neighbor to do!!
Maybe she'll get found out and get arrested for insurance fraud.
Want me to throw a snowball at her? I have bad aim, and I live in the midwest so I'd need one heck of a strong arm, but I'd do it if it would cheer you up! :)
I am so sorry about this. People are so greedy. They see it as their "opportunity" to get something. Even if they don't deserve it. Hugs, friend.

I'm so lame. I'm just catching up on your life. And now I'm more than slightly annoyed with your neighbor. I want to smack her. Hard.
